Not necessarily. I think maybe picking up the last arc would be fine considering the current series is seeing the results of that arc specifically.

I haven't red Soules' run, but I heard it's great.
Why not directly read Soules' run before reading Chip's.
I think Soules' run is one big story.
But at the end of Soules' run there is a mini-serie "Man Without Fear" by Jed MacKay - I think (because I haven't read it yet), this is what you should read as an intro to the curren run.

I don't think so, just know that Wilson is the mayor of NY and Matt is in a bad spot physically and mentally at the end of Soules run. I will say that Soules run is fairly enjoyable, especially from like issue 600 to the end.

I very much liked Soule's run and it is one of my favourite Daredevil runs. It resets Daredevil's secret identity which was revealed in Waid's run but had already started to become common knowledge as far back as Bendis' run. It also sets up Fisk as Mayor of New York. Matt also becomes Mayor for a brief period.The last arc is called Death of Daredevil and covers issues #606-612. This is probably my least favourite story in Soule's run and seems a bit of a rushed ending. This explains Matt"s condition and his state of mind in Zdarsky's run as well as Jed MacKay's Man Without Fear mini-series which forms a kind of bridge between Soule's and Zdarsky's runs where Matt also bids farewell to certain characters such as Kirsten and Blindspot.

The last arc is The Death of Daredevil. I would probably read the new Man Without Fear miniseries (not the Frank Miller one) for some added context as well.

Like others have said, not the whole run. But really the themes that started all the way back in Secret Empire regarding Daredevil and Fisk are still playing out.
