Could it have something to do with the fact that Marvel/Disney pulled the plug on the Netflix partnership before the dvd/blu-ray had a chance to be released and now the rights are up in the air?

If I had to guess this is probably it, which is disappointing. I mean, I know I can watch them on Netflix whenever, but because of this whole plug pulling thing I want physical copies more than ever because who knows if they're going to be available on there much longer.
Keep in mind that you have about as much chance of changing my mind as I do of changing yours.

2019 Golden Issue Award Winners - Comics

    BEST NEW SERIES: DAREDEVIL

    Ascender (Image Comics)
    Daredevil (Marvel Comics)
    DIE (Image Comics)
    Invisible Kingdom (Dark Horse Comics)
    Once & Future (Boom Studios)

Daredevil is a series weighted with decades of accomplishments from many of the greatest creators in superhero comics. That’s what makes Chip Zdarsky and his many collaborators' accomplishments in relaunching the series last year so impressive. The very first story tackled the terrible and chaotic nature of violence, and never provided any easy solution for this difficult problem. It has continued to investigate some of the most potent and complex themes embedded in the superhero genre, while offering new takes on classic characters and introducing new characters who will likely become classics. Daredevil is a powerful reinvention of one of Marvel’s most storied properties and remains a must-read series heading into its second year of publication.

I can't argue with that, Daredevil is my favourite comic right now strictly on the writing, especially the stuff going on with Kingpin. This guy should be writing a tv series, if he's not already.

As much as I would love to see Cox continue as DD I fear that the "proper" MCU DD Will be a lesser version than what we all Know and love.
On the upside though, there is a big ger chance of geting a more acrobatic DD, swinging through the city and all.
