vixen has cool powers but hopefully they have more appearances planned for her soon.
Artemis Grace. Straight forward, blunt, but not without compassion. Plus, the only person in recent times to brush off Harley Quinn. And put the clown lady in the corner.
Another is Cass Cain. Just overall, a great character (barring the whole mind control by Slade thing).
Wonder Woman! The original superheroine. 1/3rd of the trinity. Super powerful, one of the few close to Superman's strength, but super kind and smart. Paradise Island was a really cool concept when I first heard of it.
There are tons of runner-ups after Diana, but I'll just say Liberty Belle 'cause my first introduction to her was in Johns' JSA and she and her husband were really kind to Damage and took care of him and his insecurities as he joined the JSA and struggled with them. When she saved his life against Thawne was really cool.

Black Canary... First, I like female characters that are gorgeous and goofy which Dinah is (or should be). Despite the fact that she does have a super power she doesn't rely on it because she doesn't need to, she feels it should be a last resort. She's one of the best hand to hand fighters in the DCU and when given the option of going into the darker aspects of martial arts, she refused. She wasnt willing to sell herself and lose her light and positivity. And that's the primary reason she's my favorite; while other heroes are dark and brooding and "antiheroes" continue to sell more comics, Black Canary not only isn't that, but she refuses to become that.
Catwoman. Just like her sassiness, doesn't take crap from anyone, not even Batman, and how she kicks ass. And I like how she walks the line between being a villain and a hero.

Loved some of the DCAU additions to the mythos.

Cass Cain.
Because Cass >>>>> Anyone who's not Cass.
ConnEr Kent flies. ConnOr Hawke has a bow. Batman's kid is named DamiAn.
To do spoiler tags, use [ spoil ] at the start of the sentence and [ /spoil ] at the end, without the spaces. You're welcome!
Wonder Woman. Too predictable?
Other notable mentions - Lois Lane, Mera, Vixen, Donna Troy, all the various Batgirls (particularly Cassandra Cain), Kara Zor-El, Saturn Girl, Jessica Cruz. Would Silk Spectre count?
DC shines in this department.
Lower The Pissing Winch!
Always liked this premise-- 3 characters pretending to be a single individual. I think this is the interpretation the CW should've based their Batwoman show on. They could've used Babs, Cass, and a third character...
Wonder Woman's my favorite. Really great personality and background.
a third female to be Batwoman, hmmmmm man I can't for the life of me thinking of a third Batwoman. gosh darnnit if only there were someone intrinsically linked to the mantle of Batwoman with a extensive career as Batwoman, who's also connected to Batman and the extended Batfamily. I got! Jessica Drew!
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki
also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.
currently following:
- DC: Red Hood: The Hill
- Marvel: TBD
- Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force
"power does not corrupt, power always reveals."
That's an interesting idea. But I imagine the reason that the CW could use Kate Kane was because she wasn't Barbara Gordon or Cassandra Cain. The movies have already laid claim to Babs and Cass--but Kate is a free agent, so the CW could use her without upsetting the WB suits.
I know there are plenty of options. I was trying to think of a black woman, but DC hasn't had a real black batgirl or batwoman. One of Luke Fox's sisters could work. The split would be similar to the Batwoman movie: the detective, the one who has a familial connection to the underworld, and the tech one.
