    It was fascinating.

Only in the sense of viewer enjoyment. In-universe, Peter and MJ don't (shouldn't) care what people think of their relationship.

Until it's officially announced that it's been cancelled, I'm taking this with a grain of salt and still hold out hope and it's still around.

and as far as I knew Paulo Siqueria was the cover artist not the penciller

The new penciller is meant to be Zé Carlos, he even posted what his Mary Jane would look like

    Translation from the post

Study done for the series "Amazing Mary Jane" @Marvel First edition of the new arc is already ready and returning to production as soon as this madness passes.

The penciller credit there is because he's the penciller of that cover. And that Instagram post is from early May. Plans must've changed since then. They don't rush to these decisions.

Okay, a few things...we know the series was probably going to end at #10 when it got the extension, so they've been working up to this point, but now they won't release any of the finished second half issues?

The new artist released some finalized art so they might've gotten a few more issues done.

I'd just as soon release the remaining issues as digital only instead of just leaving it at a cliffhanger.

I'm also kind of curious what the cover is meant to indicate plotwise since we've gone from Wild West to MJ in Leia!slave garb and a bunch of laser guns.

They did also cancelled Scream mid-arc and ending in a cliffhanger, so there's a precedent. Scream was a much lower seller than MJ, so there's that on MJ's favor.
