is that a new listing? I just don't get why books like hawkeye, star, etc got to wrap up their runs back in June but Amazing Mary Jane can't finish this second arc.

I don't think we'll ever get a ''permanent'' Spinerette in the 616 but I think there's a possibility of there being a temporary Spinerette depending on the stories of course.

We got to be careful about preorders. It might have the issues making it a tradebook series for that planned story (I remember they did a experiment with Squirrel Girl in "Squirrel Girl Beats Up the Marvel Universe"), get canceled as the series was canceled, or they might pull a "now some past moments that featured MJ from the Amazing Spider-man series" to fill the void and the story suddernly tossed aside with a side remark when MJ eventual reappears in ASM.

But also possible the art and story was finished and only the covers from main and variant artists was canceled placing the story in without breaks or art of covers.

Yeah, sadly IMO, permanent or even reoccurring 616 Spinerette or 616 Iron Spider will likely never happen, which I think is a huge marketing mistake on the part of Marvel if MJ is to be the default Spidey's love interest moving forward. I have made my feelings crystal clear on the subject so I won't restate them now. Alas, it is what it is.

That was planned as an OGN from the start and had the same creative team as the ongoing, which continued for quite a while past that point.
