    Jim Butcher played with that idea in his Dresden Files series. Harry Dresden's mentor was disgusted by entertainment casting vampires as romantic figures, convinced it was a plot by The Vampire Courts to weaken resistance to them.

    The main Marvel Universe, I'm not too sure, but there was an Edgar and Stella (Edward and Bella) in The Ultimates

    Marvel is like a mirror of our world but with superheroes, meaning they reference real world entertainment. So I’d imagine it does.
