I hope Chamber awakens in space and uses his powers to fly himself and Mondo back to the ship. I think they both can survive being in space and they both have a lot of potential as far as powers.
Mondo is probably going to cause some problems since he has a Brood pheromone egg and a Krakoan flower stored inside of him.
So it seems heavily telegraphed that the Death Commandos are following the tradition of X-Book space teams being DC analogs, and that these guys are a disguised Suicide Squad. Unfortunately I know very little about DC characters and teams, and it turns out that Google is not my friend on this one because it just provides information overload. (One day a hero will come and tidy up Wikipedia and remove the extraneous nonsense).
So can anyone with better DC knowledge give me a run down, even if speculative of who they are analogues of? So far my knowledge only stretches to Warshot/Deadshot.
“And I urge you to please notice when you are happy, and exclaim or murmur or think at some point, 'If this isn't nice, I don't know what is.” ― Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
I like to think that Karma took so much joy having that rock guy punch himself because she's always wanted to do that to Rockslide
That's what always made sense to me. Someone with more than a little demonic influence in their soul who is asexual? Who isn't probably incredibly antinomian and a bit weird? That's like saying someone like that wouldn't like drugs or rock n' roll either!
Brilliant issue, funny, interesting & the art was amazing.
