For what it's worth, most books don't get to the high 60s anymore. That billion dollar movie is probably keeping Arthur around longer than anyone else in the same boat.

    What he said.

I think you are right. It is a bit odd/crazy that Aquaman has never had an issue #100.
As a TMNT fan I know that felt huge when they crossed that mark with the current IDW run, heck even #75 was huge for that title with is long running popularity.

I'm hoping Dan Watters or Cecil Castellucci takes over the title. I think they'd both rock it.
The current status quo is so exciting to explore. Aquaman and Mera as newlywed adventurers. The restructuring of the sovereign state of Atlantis. Andy being Andy with Callie in toe.

Watters would kill it. So far he’s only announced for a Superman Red & Blue story, but I hope he gets Aquaman now.

I have no idea about Watters but Castelluci's Batgirl has really soured me on her.

Although it looks like we're still sticking with the shirtless tattooed look given the cover of Bendis' Justice League. Ugh .

C'mon now, you know they can't stick Arthur back in a shirt. It would confuse the hordes of poor simpletons that flocked to the comics after seeing Momoa's onscreen look!

That's a super editorially muddled book (though I really liked it). Give SHADE a spin, you will not be sorry. That book was fire.

Watters on a lengthy AQUAMAN run would be a dream.

Hey, maybe we can get a GREEN AND ORANGE book too (now I'm REALLY dreaming).

If editorial mandated Jason Bard, she has my deepest condolences.

    SHADE was an interesting book.

Would be Awesome if that happens.
I would also be glad if its Marz and lanning. In Aquaman 66 they tied beautifully with Kelly Sue last issue. The art was near perfection
But on twitter they are saying that it might not be back in March because of poor sales.

    Really? That would suck .

I can't imagine DC letting Aquaman go unpublished for long.

    Yep,

Seems it had very low sales, among if not lowest of all DC titles.

Next year is also the 80th Anniversary of the character, so not having a book will not be that nice towards the character.

Its quite strange that it hasn't a creative team announced by now, not even the usual informed sources have a clue, which can mean everything and nothing. But quite unusual.
