Why was Image United canceled?

Hi guys

A long time ago, Image comics created its own big crossover event called "Image United". The event didn't finish as it been a long time since the last issue been released, and at this point it's safe to say that the event has been canceled.

Any idea why the event was dropped?

I think Liefeld said somewhere on Twitter that it was because Todd didn't wanna do it anymore.

Aw, man! I was really looking forward to the epic conclusion.

I already had the first three issues (plus Image United #0), then thought about getting the other variants.

And now, this had to happen.

They should Have just let Erik Larsen draw the Spawn pages back in the day to finish the story. Ah well.

I guess with Younglood rights lost, this series won't see the light of day anymore.
