Today I was sitting at home when my phone rang. I had plans to sleep , play some video games and rest after a few 14+ hour days of work. But today came a job interview. An interview that will shock everyone.
Yes folks , today Jimmy Haslam called me and shocked me with his proposal.
"Richard , I heard you were a pretty solid football mind on CBR..." he started. Then Haslam worked into how he needed to turn the Cleveland Browns organization around fully and how he was considering EVERYONE for the job nearly as coach and GM. That he needed a GM to run the team.
I was stunned at this considering that I was waiting on the Jaguars job or maybe the Dolphins to give me a call to help turn the organization around. Also he sorta forced out John Dorsey over nothing since he didn't want Dorsey to have too much power.
As usual I am supposed to fly to Cleveland this week and discuss things. But I am kinda on the fence on this. While its a GM job ; do I really wanna work for the Cleveland Browns ? I mean after how they seem to be a clusterfuck and the owner pushes people out the door at a moments notice ?
Part of me is worried that Haslam may offer this job of GM to a guy off the Browns FB page so I best possibly go for the interview. Maybe this will make the Jaguars and Dolphins show some interest ?

Had to turn em down , they didn't want me to have a hand in even getting a head coach. How do I run a team like this ?
