I think Bobby works fine as a supporting character, so I'm not too stressed

I didn't even know he was IN Marauders anymore. I gave up on reading books to follow Bobby a long time ago. It's not worth the price of the whole issue for one splash page to see him sliding around.

Agreed. Maybe this upcoming issue will mark a return to prominence...

    MARAUDERS #18

THE PAST IS NOT THE PAST!
The Marauder returns to Madripoor to pay tribute to a fallen friend... but all the while old enemies are being forged anew.

Lol, put money down on it if you want to, as a Bishop fan I have learned first hand that book is now infamous in its use of bait and switch. I see this cover, however in the story you may Iceman slide in with Pyro just to serve kitty and Emma sandwiches, then slide out all in one panel!

    Lmao, so true!

So far the best parts of that book have been the scene with Bobby and Christian on the sub and the imaginary land pyro was in with the bar!

It's not just with that book, there is a history of Iceman being promised and the fans being denied. Bendis teased big focus a few times during his run and none of it happened.

Hell, I'm still mad because I bought Captain Marvel #14 back during the 'Black Vortex' because of THIS solicit:

    CAPTAIN MARVEL #14

KELLY SUE DECONNICK (w) • DAVID LOPEZ (a/C)

COSMICALLY ENHANCED VARIANT COVER BY ANDREA SORRENTINO

    THE BLACK VORTEX ARRIVES!

    • Captain Marvel gets pulled into the cosmic event of the year! But will the power of Vortex be too strong for Earth's Mightiest Hero?

    • Especially when facing off against the cosmically-powered Iceman and Groot!

And Iceman wasn't even IN the issue!

That is just flat out mean. What was their excuse or reasoning?
