She's been their teammate since her introduction, to be fair.
She was the Kitty Pryde to NXM's New Mutants. A young girl who joins the main team instead of the training squad with people her own age.

Is Armor whispering something to Wolverine?

Jordan: I think that’s exactly why they are there. Jonathan and I have not really dug into the whys of this because… well, I think when he said it, I knew it was right and didn’t question why at all. But, to me, everything about it resonates with them rising above things. They literally have risen above the struggle against humans for whether they can exist. And they have risen above the concern of death, so much so that they live in a posh dream house on the site of their most traumatic moment. They’re over it. They have bigger things to worry about.

That's the sense I got post HoX/PoX into DoX. And I agree completely.
All the now little-by comparison to Krakoa: Mutant Nation -issues of the past stays in the past. They ain't gots no time fuh dat!

I wonder why Storm is less than pleased?

Jordan: I cannot say too much, but what I can say is that Jonathan is very deliberate. None of the stories he works on are throwaway. If he’s writing something, it’s probably because something about it is important to his plans. And I think people fail to appreciate just how far reaching his plans really are.

    I'm looking at you, Hordeculture.

    Year 2022.

Humanity has been eradicated. The Avengers are dead. Mutants are happy and the universe is at peace. CBR forum posters have finally realized that Krakoa being a fascist cult is the best thing to happen to mutants since Claremont.

Hordeculture appears in the finale page : oh hey we're back, took a while. This spray kills every mutant and we just dumped it in the atmosphere.

So ended the tenth life of Moira XI.

Basically the answer I expected,. No one really bothered the implications and of course everything happened off panel and they are over it.

This lack of development and lack of character issues are mark of Hickman x-men era. Meh
