A Magnificent Seven-ish line up. The gimmick being, the characters come from sword & sorcery slash fantasy type movies and fit certain archetypes found in this type of group.

THE HERO - Etienne of Navarre (Ladyhawke)
Labeled a rogue by his enemies, the honorable Knight put aside his own Quest and gathers a group to try and save a village beset by both evil men and black magic.

THE SMART ASS - Madmartigan of Galadoorn (Willow)
The self proclaimed “greatest swordsman that ever lived“ def. has skills. He’s also a deadpan snarker and likes pushing ppl’s buttons.

THE OTHER HERO - William Garin (The Great Wall)
It’s pretty clear this guy would be the leader if Etienne wasn’t. A professional Soldier who’s fought in Armies all over the world, he’s good w. a blade, yes, but his specialty is archery.

THE BIG GUY - Artus of Zamora (Conan The Barbarian)
The Zamoran pirate’s a badguy, but not a bad guy. Easily the biggest of the group, w. a smash mouth style of combat. He’ll provide transport and plenty of wine.

THE YOUNG GUY - Jason Tripitikas (The Forbidden Kingdom)
As the youngest of the group, w. his weapon of choice being a simple bo staff, he doesn’t impress his new companions at first. Until they see him fight and realize yeah, he can pull his weight.

THE WARRIOR GUY - D’leh of The Yagahl Tribe (10,000 B.C.)
The most primitive member of the group, armed w. a White Spear capable of taking down mammoths. He speaks a language the others don’t understand but they get by on hand signals and body language. A talented hunter/tracker he serves as scout; by day he has eyes in the sky in the form of the Hawk that is Lady Isabeau, and by night he prowls ahead w. the fearsome Wolf that Etienne becomes.

THE OLD GUY - Spook Master Gregory (Seventh Son)
Pushing seventy, Gregory’s lost a few steps physically, but makes up for it by fighting dirty. He’s been fighting the forces of evil longer than any of the others have been alive. He figures the group won’t have a chance without him.
