Yeah love the Deodatos Art, didn't like the writing that much.

Made OG Tbolts Moonstone look like a serial killer. The Doctor who murders her patients. Yikes.
A Total RETCON to her origin where she wanted funds & needed patients Alive not dead.
Also a retcon cause she is renowned Phsyciatrist. You wouldn't renowned if you had a lot of dead patients by suicide. lol
And also a retcon since during Hawkeyes bolts she didn't have a murder/homicide on her record.

And it all went downhill from there, to someone writing that Moonstone killed her own mother. Double Yikes

Well whats done is done. Hopefully with clever writing, all that mud dragging can be fixxed.

Yeah they're Villains but don't make them outright monsters.
Writers should do more to take of the reputation of characters. Specially the OG Thunderbolts Team.

Ha. I had to look up who was on the Ellis' team. Songbird. And, some other yobs I don't care about. (I mean, I don't actively dislike Radioactive Man or Penance and maybe that version of the Swordsman, if it was the Strucker kid, but neither do I want to see either of them over any of the original Thunderbolts, or Hawkeye.)

Then again, the last time we saw the old gang together, it was with Bucky and Kobik, starring the backup dancers who get no storylines...

Well it's safe to say Penance won't be on the new team as Speedball is already in New Warriors (which, like Thunderbolts, I would expect to find in the December solicits, as NW is an Outlawed title delayed from April and the other Outlawed books have already been resolicited).

Marvel is always trying to revamp this team, but what fans want is the original team back. I know putting a whole new line-up using an existing title has worked before, All New, All Different X-Men or the current Champions. Marvel keeps trying with teams like Thunderbolts, New Warriors or Alpha Flight. But we want the originals. None of the early members Zemo, Moonstone, Songbird, Altas, MACH (whatever number he's up to), Fixer, Jolt or even Hawkeye are appearing anywhere right now. This is the lineup I want to see.
