On the topic of Atlantis,

Would u rather live/be a citizen of:-

1. Wakanda
2. Atlantis
3. Attilan
4. Latveria

Of these, Wakanda seems to have been the most stable for the majority of it's existence. Atlantis is blown up every other week, Attilan is always embroiled in intergalactic politics. Life in Latveria is not well known, but it seems relatively stable and safe as long as Doom is on the throne, when he's not there's too much chaos.

Wakanda is a constitutional monarchy with a free and open civil society, first-world standard of living, and education and investment in public works.

Latveria is a dictatorship run by a science-tyrant but said science-tyrant is legitimately one of the two most brilliant minds on the planet so there's a first-world standard-of-living, country punches way above its geographical weight (a tiny landlocked nation in the middle of the Balkans that's maybe a little bigger than Luxemburg) and there's a lot of public investment and free health care. As long as I support King Doom as most Latverians seem to, everything is fine. And Doom is an improvement on the aristocracy that ran things before and better than the tinpot states superheroes like the FF and SHIELD install.

Atlantis...well it's under the sea. That's not really my thing. Also the region lacks stability with a lot of civil wars and succession crises. Namor the Submariner is too busy brooding and d--king around various hero and villain teams to actually sit down and rule. That might be true of Black Panther too but at least T'Challa seems involved and has a competent set-up to run Wakanda when he's away.

Attilan. Wow, totally sucks. You have a brutal caste system. Alpha Primitives and others are second class citizens. It's run by a totally outmoded royal family and a King who practices polygamy. The capital moves around a lot. Sure the pooch is cute and all but that's not enough to sign up for serfdom comrade.

Anybody picking Atlantis is insane. Might as well just say you have a death wish.

Attilan isn't even a Monarchy any more, however back when it was a monarchy, depends entirely on where you land in the social hierarchy.
Everybody is equally subservient under doom.

It's got to be Wakanda.

Atlantis seems too unstable, plus we pollute the oceans far too much.

Wakanda would have been the easy choice a few years back, but after AvX writers just want to have it in turmoil constantly. HickmanÂ’s run was bleak even if it was later retconned into not happening and then later retconning into slightly happening by Coates. Omg and Coates run doesnÂ’t not paint Wakanda in a good light, with the rape camps and whatever else was going on.

Lathering is a hard pass. Unless you work in Dooms Castle you probably donÂ’t live in developed world conditions. Plus your brainwashed into thinking Doom is Jesus.

All these countries seems very unstable and prone to wars, conflicts and genocide but:

1) Wakanda. Even if there is a lot of tribal wars, it seems to be, since T'challa, more multilateralist, and the Monarchy seems open to free spech and let their citizen travel into the world. and with Vibranium they are a succesful economy.
2)Latveria. Doom is a dictator who can be ruthless, don't believe in free speech and who don't seem open to multilateralism, but his country seems to have a great social and educational program (health care, great schools) , he protects minorities (by his gypsies origins Doom is particularly aware of minorities struggles) , and he seems to respect religious freedom (In a Fear Itself tie-in we have seen that Latveria has muslims and Christians who are free to practice their religion) and a strong economy (Doom create patents and technological breaktrhought who gave his country economic freedom)
3) Atlantis. It's an absolute monarchy totally separated of the outside world. They have an advanced technology but their lack of diplomacy and their physical inability to reach the outside world make them victims of pollutions, war and warlords.
4) Even if Blackbolt and Medusa tried to soften their politics and beliefs, it's a monarchy based on eugenism and classism.

Wakanda definately seems the most stable of the bunch. Yeah, Wakanda has had somewhat of a bad string of luck in recent years but really ALL the fictioanl marvel kingdoms can say the same thing.

Wakanda is easily the best. Generally depicted as relatively stable despite the various insurrections. The country is wealthy, has a seemingly good standard of living, solid culture, good infrastructure and healthcare.

Latveria. Under the rule of a oppressive totalitarian leader who isn't big on free speech and spreads propaganda about foreigners.

Atlantis. You live in a polluted ocean state that is generally at war or in cold war with the surface world. Ruled by a egotistical monarch.

Attilan. Before the reforms of Blackbot and Medusa Attilan would probably suck if you aren't one of the ruling class. The Genetic council is shown to be pretty awful most the time. Attilan often moves to avoid outsiders and the Kree. There has been a on and off civil war between the king and his brother for years.

Asgard. Besides the fact there are multiple threats to Asgard, the throne has bounced between the royal family and Asgard seems to get wrecked on regular basis it doesn't seem like the worst Kingdom to live. Asgardians seem to be happy enough people most the time.

Wakanda, obviously. It's arguably the best place to live on Marvel earth, and T'Challa is one of the few politicians worth trusting.

After that, sad to say, I gotta go with Latveria. Doom's a monster of a human, but he cares about his country and, as long as you mind your manners, life doesn't seem too awful. His people seem to be generally well cared for. Not sure what the economic and educational systems look like and a dictatorship isn't anything I want to live under, but it's better than the other alternatives.

Then I'd pick Attilan. Seems like a great place to live, as long as you belong to the right caste. But there's too much upheaval, too much xenophobia, no way to improve your station....it sounds pretty nightmarish honestly. Like, it's less stable and accepting than Latveria, and when you make Doom look like a open minded person you're doing something wrong.

Atlantis is even worse.
