I'm quite curious about this. I hope it'll be good.

Also, I know it's silly, but I miss the "Apprecimeow"

That was great! Wasn’t sure it would be approved.

Looks like a change in the team starting in April. https://www.newsarama.com/48665-new-...-in-april.html I'm hopeful for this. I feel Jones' current series has been a bit of a let down. Her art is fabulous, but the story is crawling. Looking forward to some new fun adventures.

Sexy criminal maids? I'm down .

Not sure what to expect from the writer. I feel like losing Jones is a bit of a loss, but we'll see.

While I’m bummed to see Jones leave, her story kind of moved at a snails pace at times...

The new team seems like it could be interesting. Though I haaaaate that the zipper is already zipped down. Can we get them to just stop with that? It really doesn’t work with the current outfit (any of her outfits).

That cover makes it look like her old costume, just without the goggles.

Jones' run has definitely not been the best. She put Selina in a completely new setting with a completely new cast, and failed to make any of it at all interesting to me. I simply cannot bring myself to care about this new city or the people in it. Not to mention it feels like the real important Catwoman stuff has been happening in the Batman ongoing. Selina's own solo feels like filler that fell out of continuity somehow. And of course the pace has been absolutely abysmal.

I don't think Jones writes a bad Selina, and I do love her art, but I don't think I'll miss her writing very much.

I think DC and Tom King put Jones in an unenviable situation. She was given a specific situation by King, and was then required to send back Selina per his requirements. All while Selina was in a very fraught personal state. For a one- or twoshot, it's not much to say about, but Jones got it as an ongoing, and without any possibility to interpret or develop the character based on her own vision.

I think Jones can be added to the list of female writers hobbled by DC.

I disagree there. This series spun out of Kings run, and benefited from the increased profile at the time. While Jones got a good 20 issues to introduce herself to the a bigger DC audience by the series being a spin off. I actually think Catwoman has been one of the few times they have done a good job in helping a relatively new female creators with a solid lead in. I feel like I’m a good example of that. What attracted to me to the book wasn’t Jones, as I didn’t know who she was honestly, but now I do. I’m definitely more inclined to pick up more of her work now. DC got me to pick up a book I otherwise wouldn’t have, cause while I like Catwoman her last series seemed like a dismissed mess. It just seemed there. While at the same time introduced me to a creator completely off my radar.
