As always, I roll my eyes at the idea that removing that ugly red underpants on the outside is somehow worse for Superman than wearing it. Different sensibilities and all that, but the New 52 outfit, is still, by far, my favorite.

I pretty much agree with everything on there except Wally. Not only was Wally's '90s costume his best look, it was the best Flash costume period.

Also, the '70s Legion costumes weren't bad, just very '70s.

Wally's 90s costume's problem is that it looks almost the same as Barry's costume, the only major difference being the fact Wally's eyes weren't visible. So when Barry came back, it had to go. This is why he had a new design in Rebirth.

God, the New 52 Superman suit was awful. I still cringe looking at it.

I don't like Wally's cowl, his hair showing is dumb and screams "hey I was Kid Flash."

I agree on Batgirl, her New 52 suit was awesome, and they crapped it up with the Burnside suit, the new one isn't much better.

But, he was Kid Flash. He should be proud of that! Plus, the KF outfit (especially under Perez) was one of, if not the most visually exciting speedster costumes next to Jay Garrick’s. The top/bottom contrasting color scheme and open lightning insignia on both just pop on those designs.

I'm torn on the Legion nods, in particular. Yeah, *some* of those '70s costumes (Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl) could count as the worst, others, like Lightning Lad, had their *best* costumes in that same era. Meanwhile, in the later era, when the list has the 'best' costumes, there's Colossal Boy, proudly wearing one of his *worst,* IMO.

I don't think there's any one era is which *everyone* had a decent costume, and that's probably perfectly appropriate for a team of twenty to thirty different people, all from different worlds (and, sometimes, different *millenia!*), with *vastly* different senses of style and fashion!

If there's gonna be a consistent worst, for me it would be when everyone was wearing the same puffy square shouldered bomber jackets, and had the same botox-puffy square faces. Minecraft Legion. Yuk. :P

I like the trunks because it's such a balance to his suit. Same reason for Batman. Until there's an alternative I'll take those. Plus I don't like armor costumes as much.

However, modern Black Lightning is a blessing. Just look at the material.





A 2000s design regarded as a characters classic/iconic costume is rare. This costume looks like it was created at the same time period as other heroes classic costumes and that's saying something. I don't know who designed it but kudos to that person.
