I think only one or two might be. The guy who takes after Archangel seems most likely to be the kid he bonded with in X-Factor after having grown up some. But when you have 5 cast members, you don't need to have the same background for all of them.

We can also make some educated guesses on what's going to happen based on released information and things that have been released in the past.
Also just supporting the book won't guarantee the support goes to what one intends to support.

I agree w/ New Mutants but I think Generation X and New X-Men have about the same level of representation in comics rn.

That would be an interesting deep dive into obscure and forgotten characters who once had close connections to the X-Men.

they can create as new many characters as the like, as long as they are good characters. it would be pointless to put a number limit on it. but this crop all appear to be lite versions of existing characters. that's not very creative. it definitely doesn't scream staying power. the books could definitely use less of this.

that would be hard to prove in Bishop's case. he absorbs energy. this "chimera" (if that's what we're looking at) could be charging those cards with absorbed energy.

Still, outside of physical mutation, somatic features shouldn't be reflect in Chimeras.
