You’re of course correct, but I tend to think of Asia as primarily South and Eastern Asia, both incredibly populous but underrepresented areas. All that said, less whites plz.

As it stands...the previous sets of new Mutants are/will be cropping up around Krakoa in various books like New Mutants and X-Men and the upcoming Cable so it's not as though these new characters are taking away panel-time and focus.

As usual. They barely use the ones they have properly and just keep making new ones that get shoved into wallpaper land. "Oh they show up in this book"...as background and barely there guest stars. Probably the same fate awaiting these kids.

It confuses me sometimes that in the US Asian almost always means south-east Asia, while in Britain Asian almost always means Indian subcontinent. Talk about two countries divided by a common language.

The Middle East is a region named from a colonial perspective and doesn't make much sense (what is it in the middle of? what is it East of?). There has been an effort to refer to the region as North Africa and East Asia because it is more accurate and specific. Middle East is still widely used, though.
