For her part Emma is making a fool of Shaw and on it goes. This is the worst kind of "team" book in the sense that it's not.
Hey look, it's Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons!

I thought this, but can’t Lockheed basically breathe in space?

Enjoyed the issue, nice cliffhanger. Looking forward to the next one.

    spoilers:
Shaw being so blatant in his power grab is kind of strange. It seems like he would at least try to keep some plausible deniability in case his plan failed, as it is I don't know how he isn't going to get "Sabretoothed" sooner rather than later. Yellowjacket and the Verendi trying to use Pyro as an unwilling spy is hilarious, the only information they're going to get is how much booze a person can consume before succumbing to alcohol poisoning.
Sucks that Christian was a co-conspirator, I was hoping to like him.

This is book is almost blatantly a direct continuation of the Iceman series so legacy is here to stay.
I was trying to do too much and not doing any of it as well as I could. But I've had a change of mind... though not everyone shall enjoy it. I will.

Minor nitpick but the dialogue was off in spots. Sebastian Shaw and Darren Cross are both old aggressively formal dudes. Shaw would not be saying “You and me.” And Darren Agonistes Cross would not be using the term ‘cool’ to describe anything that wasn’t literally icy. And there’s no way in hell that he would be familiar with Rick & Morty. It’s like they grafted the douchier Ant-man’s personality onto him.

That much seems obvious. He’s not a power or money grab guy.

The Yellowjacket data page was hilarious. The lingerie, all of it. I like how he thought the mutants just wanted to kill humanity and he sees that's not the case. Spying on Krakoa this way is a brilliant/devious idea. Hell, I'd pay for that streaming service.

P.S. Bobby is famous enough to be a judge on Drag Race so we know at least one segment of humanity is fine with mutants.

It's really weird for Cross because his whole thing in the Spencer run was being the exact same character he was in the Bronze Age and sticking out like a sore thumb.
