And what exactly has the black and gay characters done in this book? If your idea of diversity is the minorities being relegated to the background while the white women get all the focus and spotlight well good for you. Say what you want about X-force but at least that is a true team book where everyone has something to do and looks good doing it. The defense of this book comes off as a little disingenuous because it clear that there is bias in favor of the lead characters. If it were Storm, Iceman or Bishop getting all the focus and spotlight and Kate and Emma were in the background the same defenders of this book would be singing a different tune. It's the same with Hickman's X-men, if instead of being Cyclops centric it focused around Storm, Jean or God forbid Logan as the main character the people who love it (Cyclops fans) would be losing there collective ****. In the end it all comes down to readers faves and biases so of course all the Emma and Kitty fans love Marauders. What's not to love when those two get all the focus.

Shhh...!! Please don't rock the Kitty riders. Just let them enjoy their kitten solo book in peace, hopefully the writers can quietly slip the team out the back door while she takes on Galactus it's not like she can't handle it.

There’s already foreshadowing with Shinobi acquiring a sword. Just wish that Land were “drawing” this. I’m sure that the facial expression accompanying Sebastian’s death would be pornorific.

Does people talk about comics in the x-books boards anymore? Or is it all about diversity now?
I just clicked in a marauders preview thread and somehow all im reading for the last few pages is how the X-Force cast is all white and how Nanny is the only female returning.

Also X-Force is a better team book than Marauders or Excalibur.

its obviously's the "x-boat"'s book, duh? they are essential to every issue so far, we see so much of their core and what realy goes inside (remembers x-boat is also saved by kooty and regrets this a bit)

Geez this last page turned into a mess. Yes X-Force is a more balanced team book but it's also one that's definitely more plot-driven.

But once again that just Harkens back to my point that there more than one way to write a team book you have X-Force, you have Excalibur, and you have Marauders with X-Factor soon joining the group.

But miraculously the hate for this book just seems to Center on the fact that Kate Pryde is leading the team.
