I don't know about a soul, but I think the two are linked now. Hence why KraGabriel is seeing images of himself in the Fault, which he has never been to. I cannot imagine what will happen if they face-off and young Gave joins the mad King Gabe. It's also convenient the Darwin is away on a mission so that he can't interact with Gabe, Sway, and Petra as the latter would be horrified to hear what he did on Earth and in space.
