I've been using textless covers for my desktop background. My current one is the new Thor #5. http://marvel.wikia.com/File:Thor_Vol_4_5_Textless.jpg
The benefit is that, since it only takes up about half of my monitor's width, my desktop icons don't block the image at all.

Captain Marvel 1920x1080 wallpapers made from Dexter Soy's last page in the 2012 CM #1.
Font looks a bit 'skinny' to me. I went with a handwriting-style font called 'Always Forever' which doesn't come with italic or bold versions - and The Gimp doesn't handle copying and pasting already-formatted text from a word processor that can give it a better look that way. If anyone knows of a better similar (free) font please let me know and I'll switch to it.

I've seen things you posters wouldn't believe. Ad-spammers aflame off the shoulder of
rec.arts.sf.written. I watched cancel posts glitter in the ether near the usenet gateway.
All those moments will be lost in time... like beer in the rain. Time to unsubscribe.
