Exclamation 2020 Movies - The List - What are you excited for???

So apparently there's a lot of movies coming out this year that I didn't know about. New films from Edgar Wright, Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Ridley Scott, Charlie Kaufman, Wes Anderson not to mention the big superhero movies. I thought I'd share in case others, like me, didn't know about all of them.

    Here's a list so far:
    https://editorial.rottentomatoes.com...ovies-of-2020/
    https://filmschoolrejects.com/antici...d-movies-2020/

    I'm most excited for:
A Quiet Place: Part II (March 20)
Bob’s Burgers: The Movie (July 17)
    Tenet (July 17)
Bill & Ted Face the Music (August 21)
Last Night in Soho (September 25) (Edgar Wright's New Film)
    The Eternals (November 6)
The Trial of the Chicago 7 (Sorkin)
    Dune
    Mank (Fincher)

    Nothing really.

There just isn't anything right now that makes me feel like I have to see it in the theaters rather than waiting for streaming or redbox.

Black Widow just feels irrelevant since its a prequel and we already know how her story ends. Tenet could be interesting but I'm ambivalent right now. Bill and Ted for nostalgia reasons could be good but nothing I feel like I have to go to the theaters to see. Wonder Woman was okay but not good enough I feel that I have to see the sequel. Eternals is a complete unknown right now.

    Coming to America 2
    Free Guys
    BLACK Widow
    Etenrals
    WW84
    The Gentleman
    Quite place 2
    Kings Man

Dont judge me but The Jungle cruise movie looks fun too. But I got Amc Pass. So I try to see 3 movies a week. Theres a bunch of other movies i wanna see but these are the ones I'm excited for. A couple other movies the trailer is gonna determine. Fast 9 without Paul walker or the Rock... we will see. Bill and Ted, Raya the last dragon a few other movies i wanna see. Tenet trailer didjt do anything for me but its Nolan and Denzels son so ima give it a chance no matter what.

Portrait of a Lady on Fire - Still hasn't come out in my area, even though it is technically a 2019 release
Last Night in Soho - Edgar Wright is one of my favorite directors
The New Mutants - I'm a massive New Mutants fan and have been anticipating this movie since it was announced
Tenet - I'm not as high on Nolan as the rest of the internet, but he always does something interesting at least
Mank - So excited that David Fincher is back and I love movies about movies, so this seems like a slam dunk
After Yang - Columbus was a great debut for Video Essayist Kogonada, so I'm very much interested in the follow up
Those Who Wish Me Dead - Tyler Sheridan has not written a bad movie and his directorial debut in Wind River was excellent, so I'm really excited about the follow up.
I'm Thinking of Ending Things - Charlie Kaufman always does interesting things
The Trial of the Chicago 7 - I wasn't so high on Sorkin's directorial debut, but his scrips are always great and this subject matter appeals to me a bit more
Ammonite - Saoirse Ronan and Kate Winslet are two of the best actresses working today and to see them go toe to toe is very enticing
Dune - Denis Villeneuve is great. Pretty excited to see what he does with the source material
Nightmare Alley - Not sure if this actually coming out next year, but I heard rumors that they're trying to get it out for Oscar season. Guillermo Del Toro is my favorite director

I'm sure that after Sundance and Cannes, there will be other movies that aren't on my radar that I'll be excited for before the end of the year.

X-23: "I know there are people who disapprove... Guys on the Internet mainly."

I'm most interested in A QUIET PLACE PART II and WONDER WOMAN 1984. I will probably go see them in the theatre the first week they come out, although I'm nervous about WW84. I'm also intrigued but hesitant about BILL & TED FACE THE MUSIC--if the reviews are bad, I'll wait to see that on video.

What foreign movies are coming out this year? There's always hype for English language pictures, but it seems like the international are more likely to become surprise hits.
