    Default Howabout : Harley-verse?

    We've seen old lady Harley. How about Harley meets ;

Breaking glass, White Knight Harley (and Riot), BTAS, Margot, Birds of Prey TV version, Injustice, Arkham, Brave and the Bold flapper, 2006 the Batman, Thrillkiller

Others? Maybe some new versions such as Arlechino the harlequin, lover of Pagliacci the tragic clown..

Eh, I'd like to see it as an overarching Bat-verse story where we also get a ton of Batmen, Robins, Jokers, and so on. But just a Harley-verse? Well, I wouldn't mind it as part of her solo title or her shared title with Ivy. Imagine Ivy dealing with so many Harleys, heh.

Sure, why not. I mean, I'm not gonna read it since one Harley is loud enough for me, and of course, I'm not gonna watch it because multiple Harley voice will be an auditory nightmare, but it's not a bad idea as an entertainment.

    The Quinnverse is expanding
You could even throw Rick and Morty in there if we go by Old Lady Harley

i feel a "Harley-verse" would be one of the most creatively bankrupt shallow cash grab move DC could make. I'm not wholly against Harley, she is becoming as obnoxious as Deadpool was at his peak, but having her character expanded to such a degree would break too far away from her original concept; to the detriment of naturalistic character progression.
THE SIGNAL (Duke Thomas) is DC's secret shonen protagonist so I made him a fandom wiki

also, check out "The Signal Tape" a Duke Thomas fan project.

    currently following:
    • DC: Red Hood: The Hill
    • Marvel: TBD
    • Manga (Shonen/Seinen): One Piece, My Hero, Dandadan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Kaiju No. 8, Reincarnation of The Veteran Soldier, Oblivion Rouge, ORDEAL, The Breaker: Eternal Force

I'm all for Harley breaking away from her very limited original constraints but a Harley verse seems a little extreme. I'm hoping DC actually put some effort into developing her character and not just putting her on covers to sell books.

As opposed to every big DC event ever?
As long as it's fun and enjoyable to the people who enjoy the character, who cares if it's shallow?

Besides, the multiverse concept in comics have given us some great stuff.

    DC is a business
All those comics you enjoy or don't enjoy are put out to make a profit
If you think something is creatively bankrupt then dont read it and if said series doesn't make profit DC will dial it back. After all Harley went through a sizable period of comic book limbo until Dini used her again in his detective comics run

Suffice to say as long as an image of harley quinn on a cover boosts sales ideas like this have merit to DC

Injustice Harley teaming up with suicide squad Harley would be interesting

    Thumbs up

All I have to say is, please no. I've reached Harley oversaturation, and I don't think I'm alone.

Creatively bankrupt and obvious cash grab maybe, but I don't think it will break her character too far away. She already has a space adventure, her own gang and fights their evil version. So she can retain her character, there's just gonna be multiple version of her at the same time connected by one wacky adventure.

Then just avoid her comics. I don't think it is that hard to do. If there were a Harley-verse title you don't have to read it.

But she is a popular character with a large fan base who might enjoy it. Should her fans miss out just because you're tired of something easy enough to avoid reading?
