I'm looking forward to seeing how she gets along with the "villains" in Hellions.

Fallen Angels was a good first step but it was with the wrong team. Hellions looks like she’ll get another central protagonist role, but more time spent with wrong people.

Who are the right people you ask?
Cyclops, Wolverine, Jubilee, Remy and Rogue.

Hellions is gonna be sick. With every panel shared by Psylocke and Sinister my skin gets a little clearer and my crops a little more watered

i personally want her to get a new costume and a trait that is pretty recognizable, the crimson dawn mark and powers since when betsy had those powers, her personality was being affected by kwannon/outside forces, so its not really attached to betsy and its a pretty cool power set/design to destiguish the two.

I wasn't going to pick up Fallen Angels at first because I didn't really have any interest in the Psylocke/Kwannon angle and considered it pretty poor on creative's part that Kwannon kept the Psylocke title, it just didn't seem like something her character would do. However on a whim, I did pick up the book and have found her character to be the most poignant and interesting of the bunch. I do however wish she would get a costume more suited to her own personality and style and not something that is another hand me down from Betsy. How her character is written, she seems to have a rather sour attitude towards Betsy and it makes me wonder why she is holding onto trappings most associated with someone she doesn't want to be around. So I do think it is time that they put some serious thought and design into her character...unless they are going to go an actual psychological route and have her subconsciously want to hang on to Betsy....then that would be a supremely good story for a time and an excellent direction to go. But I dont see them going that road at all.

Fallen Angels was a mixed bag. I've posted about the things I liked & did not about it. I'd have loved if Hill could've done more than 6 issues himself. Or at least have had scripted out a few more issues & see if the editors would allow someone else to take over his book. Kwannon & Alex seem to be the leads of Hellions. Besides Sinister, they're the only two well known marketable characters appearing in Hellions.

My one hope is that, should Hellions last or if somehow Hill's able to come back for another arc of Fallen Angels, that they take her out of the hand me down thong.

I've liked so far that while the character is angry, she finally found a direction or motive even though now we've only got 1 more issue of Hill's take on her. It's a different type of anger than what most writers gave Betsy (killing addiction). I feel that a lazier writer could've just reused that thread & say it was Kwannon's influence making Betsy bloodthirsty. Especially since way back in the early 90's they said it was Kwannon's influence making Betsy flirt with Scott.

that's a really good point, the difrent types of anger and reaction to trauma, it does well to both sides and makes me enjoy its characther work even more!
