Kwannon is not her real name. It's a name her old master gave her.

They never revealed Kwannon's real name, which I think was a major missed opportunity of Fallen Angels. But I'm so relieved they revealed Kwannon wasn't her real name.

Fallen Angels seemed kind of weirdly disinterested in showing how her powers related to her being an assassin. Since this is nominally her in her original body, I'm just assuming the powers she has now are powers she's always had.

Would love them to go this route. Basically same costume but less cheesecake.

I know that illustration is supposed to be 80s/90s Betsy but I thought kwannon was drawn w/ purple hair until recently? Only one of the attached images was supposed to be there but I guess two works lol

Kwanon wasnt in that body until recently. She has black hair in current continuity

I probably need to brush up on the body swap antics but isn't the body she's in currently her original body? I know she has black hair rn but from what I understood her original Body that she's been returned to had dark purple hair like Betsy's has lilac

No. This is a body created by Jamie Braddock. Her original is long gone. Betsy was drawn with black hair as well quite often and my head canon is that she would dye it purple. Kwannon doesnt dye her hair so its back to its natural black
