Why would Kwannon feel anything for Brian or his kid? She never even met them and they mean nothing to her. Ditto on Betsy with Kwannon's daughter

While I haven't thought about this story in years. I thought Besty and Kwannon's minds were so mingled together that even Professor X couldn't tell which was the original.

Keep in mind, I might be misremember this story. Also, keep in mind this could have been undone and i missed it.

Truth! Forced connection at its worst.

Yes its definitely forced and would unnecesrily complicate and confuse things to have the women share the same emotional attachments with the same characters. Marvel needs to differentiate the two going forward, not keep them intertwined any more than their shared history calls for

They still had their own separate relationships. Like Betsy wasnt in love with Matsuo just bc Kwannon was. Besides that was a different story almost 30 years ago. There really hasnt been anything shown to suggest that Kwannon shares the same feelings towards various characters that Betsy did. She's been cold and distant to the few that she has interacted with.

I remember Besty blaming her flirtation with Scott on Kwannon. Since Besty is/was the stronger telepath I assumed they had a lot of bleed over between them.

It wasnt bc Kwannon was attracted to Scott (she hadnt even met him). What was met by that line was that having her mind melded with Kwannon made her more bold and aggressive
