Oh, please, he’s totally gay for Batman and don’t need a new girlfriend. Just another cheap version of Joker.

According to punchline’s creator joker and her are equals in evils and she is just as abusive as he is. Also joker doesn’t abuse her as he did with Harley seems like the two get along with each other since their both evil.
hopefully she has a distinct personality and a completely different relationship with him than Harley did. (I'm basing this on the cartoon continuity-- I have no idea exactly what's canon on her backstory in the comics).
Character has a neat design, hope she's a great villain.
I'm hoping Punchline brutally roasts Harley when Harley inevitable tries to "save" Punchline from the Joker only to realize Joker never respected her, but does Punchline. Would add something useful to Harley's character since DC really wants to make us like her as a solo anti-hero now. And it'd solidify Punchline easier into the DCU.

Dick Grayson has learned the truth: that “fixing” his identity lies with none other than Barbara Gordon. He must go to Gotham to find Batgirl—and runs into The Joker’s new henchperson, Punchline. Unlike Harley Quinn, Punchline’s deadpan black humor matches the deadly knives she uses on her victims…and for her next joke, Ric Grayson is the punchline.
