I agree, and gotta say he's looking extra yummy on Instagram lately.
Phil needs to be put back on Wonder Woman she's Needs a great artist.
I believe Jimenez said in a recent interview that he wouldn't go back a monthly comic schedule because it is too taxing.
He took on Historia though largely because DC is letting him take his time with it. It will be done when it's done.
I do agree with those wishing things were different and he'd come back though.
1. Reinvigorate her villains
2. Remind readers who her supporting cast is
3. Make her mission and stances clear
4. Relationships (this can be a wild card)
Jimenez sets up a basic template that every WW writer should follow IMO
What I love about Phil is that he clearly loves so many aspects of Wonder Woman: the character, her history, her status as a symbol for women and the LGBTQ+ community.
Plus, I always thought he understood the complexities of her existence best. That issue of Lois trailing Diana for an article to try and understand her remains one of my favourite single-issues.
It's weird how he was an artist turned writer but he wrote Wonder Woman better than most writers she's had lately.
A Day in the Life with Lois Lane
Gods of Gotham crossing over Batman's world with Wonder Woman's
Paradise Lost the amazon civil war
Paradise Found that brought in the Egyptian pantheon along with the Olympians to revitalize Themyscira
The Witch and the Warrior with all those super-heroine gust stars
Villainy Incorporated in Skataris
The Death of Hippolyta
He had so many big ideas that paid off so well, can't wait for Wonder Woman: Historia.

Looking at how lush this pic of Hippolyta is it's clear to see why he doesn't want to do a monthly.
100% agree. I'd kill for more Jimenez WW stuff. Historia looks positively amazing so far.
As for Bloodlines, I have a feeling Jimenez probably isn't a huge fan of the movie itself (like many of us). Vanessa was I guess decent in the film, if you like generic teen rebel types. But they weren't even basing it off his (far superior) storyline, rather the Rebirth one that immediately discards Julia. Bleh.
