Yeah, like how her powers didn’t work on Storm. Something she was going through that the X-Men saved her from was probably either prepping her or weakening her.

I'm assuming that since she'd been held captive by Orchis for an indeterminate amount of time, she doesn't have full access to her advanced COTV technology. So I'm not expecting a black hole bomb or anything too fancy

I'm just hoping that Hickman remembers what made them so appealing

I'm not expecting anything too exciting this issue. It's not like the Davos meeting that was nicely encapsulated, and therefore more likely to be satisfying. This will just be setup and a teaser of one of many future plotlines. A depowered Serafina isn't exactly interesting, especially when an entire team is after her. I expect a revelation that Orchis is still around (as suggested by the solicit), or something else comes to her aid.

I don't know if its Gracia's colors, but I DIG how much Silva's art is looking more polished (and honestly...it gives me Pepe Larraz teas and let me tell you I do not mind at all having two of those around in the world).
