Sure to all of that, buuuuuut for that last thinq, fusions in general always make the fused result a bit... megalomaniacal.

Honestly, all the other fusions were either fairly mellow (Kibito/Kaioushin and Elder Daikaioushin/witc)h, or were already megalomaniacal (Zanmasu/Goku Black) to begin with. Vegetto was a bit arrogant in his first appearance, but he also looked like he was faking it since his thoughts showed that he was trying to lure Buuhan into devouring him so that he could go and rescue everyone else that was devoured. Kefla didn't seem particularly megalomaniacal, and I don't really remember how DBS Gogeta behaved.

Gogeta was a bit cocky, but otherwise, he was pretty mellow.

Fair enough. It was such a plot point for Gotenks and Gogeta (the non-canon versions) that it's how I've always seen it. Vegito, I agree, came off that way buuuuuuut it's hard to say exactly how much was acting. And, to be as plain as possible, Goku and Vegeta each have VASTLY worse showings of ego than any of their fusions.

DBS Gogeta was, as stated, cocky but fine - also he had very little screen time.
