The last one was definitely a justified change. That victory rolls hairstyle made sense in the 1950s, but definitely not by the time Captain Marvel came back in 1973. Had Shazam been published in the 60s, it's clear that Mary's look would've been updated within a few years, the only reason it waited until 1973 was the fact the Marvel Family wasn't published in the previous 15 years.

Completely agree. His stories were so much darker than Cap's but loved it all the same. Mac Raboy's art was immaculate!
