I'm not sure of the full measure of Doc's tech feats, but psi-blockers are probably the least Octavius can do.

I think a while back he built a personality transfer thingie and switched bodies with Parker? So he's at least familiar with the intersection of psionics and electronics. (Unless I've got that part of the history wrong, not sure.)

I don't know how the fight goes, but I'd credit Doc Ock with being able to build an electronic psi-screen.

So the thing is Grodd is much much more durable than Ock and has telekinesis, so he should just grav hammer the guy even if Ock's mind is protected. So sans prep this jsGrodd.

With prep... I dunno. I have been told Ock has some hih prep showings, but Grodd's high end includes gaining access to the speed force and turning most of the humans on Earth into monkeys to act as a psychic battery for him.
