Default The Grand CBR "SPAM" thread ...

The last few months its a weird thing to see the amount of weird spam to show up on CBR. In fact the forums for its history always had weird spam bots appear and spam free movie links to pirate sites and more. It was always a funny thing to see happen on those rare occasions. Of course its happening a lot more now and today was no exception.

I came on to find a thread about finding an escort in Bangalore . I was intrigued to read this spam since well...when did CBR ever have a spam bot discuss looking for escorts in Bangalore ? Alas as i clicked it CBR Mods had deleted it. Its clear a lot of comic book nerds will not be finding escort services on CBR. Even though it would be kinda funny to post that a description...

"Comic Book Resources forums , for all the fun of community to discuss comics , movies , politics , sports and escorts !"

So it made me think , if were getting fun spam like this now ...why not save it in a thread where we can laugh about it ? I mean we have seen people post about Bit Coins and other goods. So why not a thread where 1 post of Spam is saved to get some laughs from each time. It can be kept for all time to see the unique silly spam we get in CBR at times.

This way before its deleted for all time we can share some laughs at Bangalore escorts or some one hawking bit coin sites. Or whatever happens next spam wise.

So CBR lets keep a SPAM thread for all the stuff we can later laugh about.
"The story so far: As usual, Ginger and I are engaged in our quest to find out what the hell is going on and save humanity from my nemesis, some bastard who is presumably responsible." - Sir Digby Chicken Caesar.
“ Well hell just froze over. Because CM Punk is back in the WWE.” - Jcogginsa.
“You can take the boy outta the mom’s basement, but you can’t take the mom’s basement outta the boy!” - LA Knight.
"Revel in What You Are." Bray Wyatt.

Sliced SPAM baked with a slice of pineapple on each slice covered by cheese. Somehow it works.

Has anyone been to the Spam Museum near Hormel headquarters in Minnesota?

By the way, if anyone's interested in watching RiffTrax, This is Hormel is a good short to start with.

It always seems to be around the same time of day when the site gets 'attacked'. Here in the UK it's late morning/early afternoon. Surely nobody's ever clicked on any of those links? What are they anyway? Pirated sports channels? Porn (surely not)?

I like to walk down into the centre of my local village for my Spam needs. There's a sandwich shop/bakers there that does a good Spam and Egg butty. Failing that, I can get a Spam fritter from the local chippy.

I'm well looked after in the old Spam department (of the processed meat variety).

The traditionalist in me has a negative reaction to a food which gets so many flavors when it, itself, has a unique taste. I'm also looking at you, Oreos. But some of those do look appealing.

There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Or at least I thought I was. Then I took a closer look at the picture above. Man, that is a lot of different varieties of Spam. BBQ Spam? Jalapeno Spam? Frigging Hickory Smoke Spam?

Over here we generally just live off regular Spam. You're spoilt for choice. Too much spam. First world problems.

No, I've had it in restaurants that charge too much for it. Was introduced by Hawaiians. Now I just make it if I want it.
