DC: Why does Exoristos of Demon Knights never appear in the Rebirth?

She is very uplifting character in DC Demon Knights story. But why she did not appear? Is she dead?

Long story short, that particular character's place in the bigger picture gets kind of complicated during "Rebirth".

"New52" continuity sort of goes away during "Rebirth". The bulk of the "New52" run turns out to be suspect, at best. If not outright lies. It gets a little complicated because Donna's brother Jason does survive into "Rebirth", but not much else does.

To me, it always felt like Exoristos was something of a victim of "Continuity..." changing.

Because usually particular writers have their personal favorite characters. Usually for original characters like her, it's their creator. In the case of DK that is Paul Cornell of Dr. Who fame who no longer works for the Big 2 or with comics all that much.

She was just actually mentioned in last week's Wonder Woman #750 so she still exists.
