Default Is it just me, or are DC/Marvel writers hinting that they want a crossover?

    Things like this:

    https://www.cbr.com/doctor-doom-invaded-dc-universe/

    and this:

    https://www.cbr.com/marvel-black-win...s-dc-universe/

    and this:

    https://www.cbr.com/doomsday-clock-m...ssover-teased/

and a lot of instances I've been hearing of recently where Marvel and DC writers are dropping little references toward each other, it seems that DC and Marvel writers want a new crossover event between the two companies. What do you guys think? Is there a possibility that one is actually in the works or is this just fun, meta references?

Id definitively love that, if it isn't just an excuse to have a megabrawl between Justice Leaguer and Avengers or X-Men.

A looming threat giving time for the two Multiverses to see how similar and yet different they are could be really awesome. Imagine the X-Men discovering that on Earth-0, there isn't any structural racism toward metahumans (or at least far from the level they face as Mutants in the Marvel U.). It could be incredible. Would some Mutants want to move to the DCU then ? Similarly, how would characters who feel the Justice League is too aloof and not effective enough to fight crime would react to the more down to Earth and flawed heroes of the Marvel U ?

So many possibilities, beyond Hulk needing Superman and Doomsday to team up so they could beat him (because, it should be Superman and Damage II !)

Writers want it, Disney is weirdly fine with it, WB are the ones not cool with it iirc

Of course the writers want it. The parent companies don’t though, because they can’t agree on how to split royalties. Also there’s all these conditions about how you can use the characters at least on DC’s side.
