Squirrelman gets my vote. For finding a cover featuring my favorite kaiju; as well as a fun take on the theme.

Honorable mentions go out to Nschornhorst and worstblogever.
Pull List: The Black Hammer, Bitch Planet, Copperhead, Hellboy/BPRD, Monstress, Ms. Marvel, Southern Cross

    Ajax-X for the Cockrum art.
I considered LordMikal, but he lost points for the small image.

foxley 'cuz the characters are broken down into their basic modes and the simplicity of focusing is Marvelous.

Honorable Mention to Attila Kiss for a cover whoich shows us the true defense will be in the courtroom after the distinguished cometition sees that cover.

    Darknight Detective.

Not sure I've ever seen Hawkman using a shield before.

Ok, I'll take that hit. Agreed, I should have looked for a larger version.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
