I honestly feel like Saitama could just do whatever Val can do to the point where it's even but Saitama wins because his whole gimmick thrives on him beating more serious foes.

Yes, I know metatext isn't normally in Rumbles but two out of the three people in this fight are effectively gimmick characters.

Saitama has the stronger gimmick in his setting given that his franchise revolves around him being completely unbeatable.

Luffy wonders why he is here.

Oh, and it was the Emerald Eye, Arby. It had little real effect because the Eye just reassembled itself shortly thereafter but good for him.
