    Congratulations my man. . . LOL Selfishly I wish you'd written 20 years of fan fiction about the team, but what you have there is really cool. Thanks. Sad I didn't see it sooner.
    My priority is enjoying and supporting stories of timeless heroism and conflict.
    Everything else is irrelevant.

    Heh! Eons ago I started a "group" fanfic of a shared Universe called "Alternate Marvel" where Onslaught is defeated, and there is no Heroes Reborn. A good friend Liam did an amazing job of writing New Warriors fan fic, continuing from issue #75 into 76 and going onward. Sadly that site is long gone (and Yahoo Groups where the messages were hosted) is now gone as well.

    Here's the Archive.org link - go back to 2005 or so - not sure which ones work or not.

    There's a link mistake in that write up. You link to https://web.archive.org/web/2009*/ht...henewwarriors/ but the 2009 links are 404 not found. There is an archive at https://web.archive.org/web/20040828...henewwarriors/ but it seems to just be a single page with a search box.

    It's because I didn't specify the year; so Archive.org just goes to the last date it "captured" - which as you said, by 2009 didn't exist (so I am not sure what it's capturing, since I think Geocities had been retired by then).

    And it's funny the "search" box was because back then (urpmh this is going to date me for folks who know html) - I had the site in three separate frames. And I don't think Archive.org knows how to read the frames (because it's seriously so outdated as a form of html) - so it's grabbing I believe the top frame of the page (which was the search for the site) - left pane had your typical links to stuff, right frame was where the content would display.

    I did remember - I did a "throw" back because I found all my old content on one of my drives - including some of the banners I made - get this - in Microsoft Paint back then!

    Geocities closed in October 2009 (but lasted until 2019 in Japan!), but it looks like your site closed early, as the archives are from prior to that date. I've seen archive.org captures that do properly use the old style frames, so I don't know why it's only displaying one of them there. Maybe the capture was just incomplete - same reason why there's often missing images on older captures.

    It's interesting - because if you search Archive.org for the original URL (before Geocities was giving out "friendly" URLs) - the pages appear to come up blank:
    https://web.archive.org/web/19991011...51/Dunes/5474/

    I also noticed - that when you look up the Geocities address with thenewwarriors (when it gave friendly names) and it has just the search - it's autoforwarding to when I had newwarriors.com already set up. So even when I click on 1999 for example - it bumps to 2004.

    So I am wondering, because I did set up autoforwarding on the site (so if you went to the geocities site, there was code that would direct the URL to change to newwarriors.com is messing with Archive.org)

    Because I can find other sites I did that are still there - and even on oocities... such as:

    http://www.oocities.org/tymbersden/
    http://www.oocities.org/tyragon/ - here's the same frame format I used on the New Warriors site (so it clearly reads it) - https://web.archive.org/web/20091027...s.com/tyragon/
    http://www.oocities.org/tawmis/ (though I officially closed this site before Geocities even went down) - but you can still see that on Archive.org - https://web.archive.org/web/20020308...es.com/tawmis/
    http://www.oocities.org/whaleyhouse/ - though here's how it looked (with the same old frames format) before I moved it (due to the Geocities announcement) - https://web.archive.org/web/20020104...m/whaleyhouse/

    Apparently this is all the HTML it captured, that's why it's blank.

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    var margin_top = 65;
    function fitPlayback() {
      $('#playback').css({
        height: (window.innerHeight - margin_top) + 'px',
        top: margin_top
      });
    }
    fitPlayback();
    $(window).on('resize', function() {
      fitPlayback();
    });
    $('#wm-tb-close').click(function(){
      margin_top = 0;
      fitPlayback();
    });
    </script>
