Maybe not as powerful these days, but when Rogue grabbed Remy and kissed him right before the Age of Apocalypse stormed into existence was such a huge moment for young me, it was the culmination of a buildup that I had been rooting for since the beginning and seeing it on the page was pretty fantastic. I was very moved because when faced with the end of things, she thought of him overwhelmingly.

Not emotional or powerful but frightening and creepy was Bastion asking Matthew Risman (in the X-force Angels and Demons by Craig Kyle) if he is defective while pointing a glowing palm at his face. Bastion was just a creepy mofo
