Did they? James has changed quite a bit since he has had years worth of development but when he first appeared, he was almost a carbon copy of John. James is what John would have been had he lived and been allowed to grow as a character

I see John as more of a hothead. James did start out with a grudge but he evolved, at least to me, into a very different character than John would have. But he was a lot like Logan so when they decided to kill off one of the ANAD team, they went with Thunderbird.

Poor Blink. I have always wondred why they never had a story about rescuing her. She would have fit nicely in Gen X.

I wI was actually pretty devastated at the time, she was a quick fave along with Synch, later Chamber became my other fave when he was introduced in the Gen X ongoing.
