Hated.Feared.SavingThe World.Tell Me What's Changed.
Nightcrawlers entrance to the X-World was quite powerful I'd say.
A Storm and Cable moment remember Moira.
Gambit and Rogue. If this is not touching what is?
I do wonder if they’ll ever follow up on Cable’s history with Moira, considering how important she now is to X-canon because of House of X/Powers of X?
Where does his history with her, and future knowledge, fit in exactly; and did he know about her mutant power and her multiple lives? Could be really interesting to explore at some point. And there’s still that literal “Chekhov’s gun” out there in the original teaser image for HoX/PoX from Mark Brooks which showed Cable holding Forge’s power neutralizing gun... at some point that’s likely to be important, as it seems an odd thing to throw into that image considering Cable has never been shown to possess or wield that gun.
Wondering if at some point OG Cable returns and neutralizes Moira’s power so that the timeline cannot be reset.
I don't know. Maybe a possible guidance from Moira for young Cable may be beneficial though I'm sure most would prefer old Cable's return.
I actually thought they would "do it" at the time and I was like "woah." And your right about the next page - and it sort of seemed like a cop out. More like a ruse.
Something about Destiny that brings out these moments.
Her goodbye to Rogue still gets to me to this day.

Look at this guy. This guy has had to put up with it all. Genocides, deaths of loved ones, unimaginable suffering, his whole life has been a long tragedy in which he has had to sacrifice everything time and again for the good of his people.
Now he can just have a snack and be happy. This is the culmination of the dream.
