Any recommendations beyond Herge and Moebius (not to say they're not fantastic)?

Any particular recommendations? I read The Theory of the Grain of Sand, and that was lovely.

I'm not familiar with Schomburg or Baker. Any recommendations?

    OP's question wasn't about recommandations…

It depends on what you are looking for.

Raboy is noted more for his covers, though the interiors he did are quite good too, like for Green Lama #3:

Raboy also had a fairly extensive run on the Flash Gordon strip post-Raymond...

Schomburg was a huge Golden Age cover Artist. Not sure if there's any relation to Arthur Schomburg but there seems to be something there. And Baker was an infamous Phantom Lady Artist.

Definitely wanted to talk more about Carl Barks, whom I previously mentioned. His approach when it came to drawing the Duck family’s adventures made them feel more special and grandiose:

    Four Color #223 (April, 1949):

    Uncle Scrooge #5 (March, 1954):

Uncle Scrooge, His Life and Times #1 (1981):

I get that the OP wasn't asking for recommendations. But if people here are mentioning good comic books I'm not familiar with, I'm going to be curious.
    Sincerely,

So cool how Schomburg made paired versions of his covers.
