Also love the idea that Stan Lee created mutants, a telepath/telekinetic, mutant hatred and a telepathic leader all before X-Men issue one came out. That Amazing Fantasy story really is a pilot that was reshot sometime later and renamed X-Men.
Yes, I love the Tobias Messenger as Leader and Tad as a TP/TK. I wonder how powerful Tad is? Flying is a good sign that he can do more than move books.

It would be great for them to show up on Krakoa. Jean and Tad would have a lot to talk about!

I would be concerned that they would be painted as the villains though...although, Krakoa desperately needs a group that is opposed to their ideals. Right now, we have everyone jumping on the wagon with no real antagonists that are mutant.

I'd say the Promise are more misguided than villainous, Messenger however seemed to strongly believe a human/mutant war was inevitable... so I'd say he's about as villainous as Charles, Magneto and Moira

I'd be curious to learn whether Marvel editors consider The Hidden Years canon or not. It's never been referenced again after its conclusion, and I remember at the time there was a question of whether it was in continuity or not. Nothing in it contradicted established canon in a major way except for the O5 meeting Ororo before Giant-Size X-Men 1... but I mean we've seen much worse continuity snafus since then LOL
