Default William Messner Loeb's Flash Found The Humanity In Everyone

Nice little feature on the Loeb's Flash run.

    Yes he did!!
He took Baron's version of Wally - who, let's face it, was a self-centred jerk and turned him into well rounded, level headed hero.
He gave us Linda Park, outed Piper, brought back Wally's mum and made her a 'real' person, brought back Chunk as a disposal operator who quickly makes his own fortune, Connie, Wally's deadbeat dad, Mason, the list goes on.
Everything that people loved about Mark Waid's run on the Flash was put in place for him by William Messner-Loebs.
"My name is Wally West. I'm the fastest man alive!"
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.

Exactly. Tbh, I liked Messner-Loebs run much more than most of Waid's run.

That's why I was happy they used the Messner-Loebs' version of Wally for the JL/JLU cartoon

I loved his supporting cast. To me that's Flash's definitive supporting cast.

Ugh I miss that era. Wish we could go back there. Not interested in married life with kids when it comes to Wally to be honest

    Best Wally West writer.

I wish other authors would have given the character such a lovable, multidimensional cast (Or at least keeped it for God's sake!).
