Simon never existed in the new continuity. he was eaten by space rats.
That doesn't bug me. Bobby's just out, young, single and reasonably attractive. He should be hooking up with everyone.
The most unbelievable part of the X-Men is the fact that these are mostly hot young single people living together in a school, island, wherever, and are all just platonic friends. It's more realistic that a guy can shoot energy from his eyes than how sexless they all are.
i enjoyed this book alot especially art big fan of stefano. athough the only thing i did not like which the reason i dont look forward to the hellfire brats is the little psycho girl stroking a dead cat which rubbed me the wrong way as a cat lover. yeah i hate her.
I love this book so much but it really needs more Storm. Her moment here was cute but she's just kind of been there since the series started. I hope next book will scratch that itch since she'll be confronting Emma.
Is it just coincidence that the best issues are those that don't feature much of Kate Pryde?
The book keeps getting better and better, glad for more Bishop and my favourite bits were definitely all of Callisto's scenes!
I thought Ororo was handled better in the FF crossover than anything I've seen in Marauders so far. Even though she wasn't the main focus, she still felt present and engaged.
I have a hard time believing this take on Callisto. She's too accepting of Emma and Kate.
So far everything in this book revolves around Kate and Emma with Sebastian as their main foil. It was nice to see Bishop get a little focus this issue, but he's only sniffing after Kate in the end. It's frustrating when other books are able to balance their casts much better(X-Force for example, or even Excalibur comparatively).
Let the flames destroy all but that which is pure and true!
This was amazing. Honestly one of my favorite issues so far. I love all the chess pieces moving around in the Emma/Shaw game.
Duggan's Callisto is so great and so in-character, I'm falling for her all over again. I hope she remains a huge part of the story. Adored the Jumbo/Callisto/Emma scene and also her little moment with Storm. Also great to see Bishop being more prominent, but I still wish he and Storm would each get a decent suplot instead of just great moments. I'm meh re: the Bobby/Christian pairing, but interested in seeing where it goes. Honestly, Shinobi is way hotter than Christian.
But yeah, how I love this book.
I'm particularly shook at the revelation that the foreign country Cyclops & co invaded to give the Morlocks a home in Rosenberg's Uncanny was actually Arizona
Arizona is only marginally better than New York sewers.
