What were your favorite moments of the first arc of Excalibur.

There are a lot of moments for me. I'll limit them to:

Apocalypse hooking Morgana up to that machine of his and using her blood or body parts for whatever it is that he was doing to her.
Morgana drowning her own knight.
Those two unnamed mutant twins drowning.
Brian being turned into Morgana's slave.
The leader of the Akkaba Coven betraying the rest of her coven and killing them to save herself. I'll try and find her name. hopefully I'll remember to edit that part in.

I honestly feel like Excalibur is being used as a big story beat towards Apocalypes main goal. Dealing with his First Horsemen and Arrako. And whatever Hickman introduced in the first issues of X-Men.

I feel like Rogue and Gambit should be off on Marauders or X-Men. Jubliee can be with the GenX'rs.

Excalibur having Apocalypse doing his stuff but starting his 'coven' is far more interesting to me.

For some reason Otherworld is important to him. It would be cool to have more focus on Betsy Braddocks interactions with Apocalypse, Exodus, and Jamie Braddock.

And I'm hoping that when that story comes into play that Jonathan Hickman takes over an Excalibur arc to write out the story.

Like he is doing for his Shiar stuff in New Mutants.

I'm just still disappointed that Pixie didn't make the roster for Excalibur even though she's a Welsh mutant with magic powers and ties to Otherworld.
And Skottie Young is coming up with Strange Academy and has made a new purple fairy character who seems to have a similar role to the one Megan had back when he drew her in New X-Men. She isn't even a guest lecturer like Nico Minoru or Magik

And now this UK team. Its just so many missed opportunities for Pixie.

As much as I love Marcus To's art, I think he was mis-cast for this book. Similarly, Rogue, Gambit and Jubilee arent characters I would have used for this series. That's not to say I'm not enjoying the series, but it does feel like it could be much better.

I hope Pixie will be used nicely in Cable. She's got the looks and the powerset to be a bigger player.

I wonder if there could be an Excalibur/Strikeforce crossover sometime in the future. Wiccan’s a mutant and I feel like •—[A]—• would love to have the Demiurge on Krakoa/helping establish mutant magic. That’s definitely an asset that I can see the Quiet Council wanting to go after sooner or later.
