In a way, it really comes down to what stories are told, especially with regards to mythology.

I don't really like the approach taken in Rucka's first run or Azzarello's run, where Diana acts as a champion for a side in a struggle within the Greek pantheon, and I think her being a champion of the gods in Man's World (like Pérez did) has also become overused.

But Wilson's take, with Diana as a guide for gods lost and confused on Earth, that felt fresh and new. "Gods of Gotham" by Jimenez was also a fun take, though the story got bogged down with far too many characters. Or do modernisations of classical myths, as the Amazons tell them, like Pérez did with the Pandora, I'm all in for that. There is a lot more to Greek mythology than the Olympians.
