Default Can book bindings become damaged if Delivered in freezing weather?

Recently ordered quite a few books thru Amazon/IST. Problem is I live in Minnesota and its hovering around 0° and with me wotking 12hr shifts my books are going to be sitting for some hours waiting for me to pick up. If I leave them sit at room temp over night before cracking them open, all should be good correct? Has anyone had any book damage from extreme weather even if they are securely packaged?

I live in SD. Just got 100 books(combination of tpb and HC). Left on door step.

    No problems with quality.
